Hunterdon County EMS Chief's Association

WELCOME to Hunterdon County EMS!

The Hunterdon County EMS Squad Chief's Association (HCEMSSCA) was originally formed with one intent in mind, as defined by our Constitution and By-Laws, our purpose is "to constructively discuss and implement methods and ideas that will improve, enhance or otherwise better the emergency medical services, rescue services and general public safety of Hunterdon County, New Jersey."

Our Organization’s membership consists of the Chiefs and Presidents, essentially the "decision makers" of all EMS providers within the County, paid and volunteer, private and public, BLS, ALS and Rescue. In addition, our Organization has Ex-Officio Members including: the Hunterdon County Director of Public Safety George Wagner, Hunterdon County Emergency Services Training Center Coordinator Mark Bishop, Hunterdon County OEM Coordinator Bill Powell, Hunterdon County EMS Coordinator Howard "Bucky" Buchanan, Hunterdon County Communications Supervisor Harry Heller, District Chairperson Jeffrey Tampier and Mobilization Coordinator Jim Anderson of the 10th District of the NJ State First Aid Council.
